So here we go again. Nic Cage is back in the news after his Bel Air home along with his properties in Malibu went up for auction wednesday. The bank now ownes all of Nicolas Cages properties after there weren’t any takers at any of the auctions.

The homes in Malibu had a minimum bid of $10 million dollars with Cage behind at a number close to $8.8 million dollars on the two properties.

As for the Bel Air home, it went on the auction block Wednesday for $11 million but also had no takers. Cage owed more than $17 million on this mansion. All the properties were first class living for the movie star that had a complete financial meltdown.

Nicolas Cage has yet to see a day where he isn’t some legal battle. Cage is now being sued for not making payemts on two very swanky Rolls Royces. Cage seems to be a target for anyone these days.

The company that is suing him is Premier Financial Services, a leasing company that Nic used for these cars. Cage is being sued for a breach of contract after he didn’t pay them resulting in the cars being sold as a wholesale price.

One of the cars was a 1964 Rolls Royce SClll, which is worth over $550k. He was required to pay $7,663 a month for that bad boy. The other car is a 2002 Rolls Royce which he paid $3,630 a month.

Nicolas Cage is definitely not tight on money. If you weren’t around before, Cage still owes $6 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS. Nic needs to start making some more big blockbusters to get out of this mess.

Well, if there is one thing going Cages’ way, it’s definitely that he can still get work. Nicolas Cage will be starring in a new 3-D movie called “Drive Angry.” The name is definitely suitable with his financial situation and all.

Summit Entertainment is behind the big blockbuster and this isn’t the first one they have done with Cage. Summit was apparently behind the movie “Knowing,” where Nicolas Cage was also lead actor. Directing the flick will be Patrick Lussier and will be shot in 3-D just like the blockbuster “Avatar,” which is set to release this Friday.

“Drive Angry” is a revenge style movie where Nic will be chasing his daughter and took her baby. The movie is set to release February 11^th, 2011. There is no word on how much Cage will get out of the deal but he is still in the hole with the IRS for over $6 million.

Joe Francis is no stranger to tax trouble. A lien has been filed against the crook since he apparently owes the IRS over $33 milllion in taxes for three years of non-payment. He didn’t pay taxes in 2001, 2002, and 2003.

In 2001, Joe owed over $11 million to the IRS. In 2002, he owed over 4.9 million and in 2003, almost $5 million. This just hitting old Joe Francis after he go off from a federal tax evasion case with a plea deal.

Francis told TMZ that over $100 million was seized in his fancy bank accounts and he will file for bankruptcy.
