NFL Jevon Kearse in Foreclosure on Florida Home

It seems that we have another former athlete in foreclosure this week.  Jevon Kearse was a NFL All-Pro superstar who retired three years ago.  He played 11 seasons for the Titans and Eagles.  This former football player is now in foreclosure.  He owes the bank $5.25 million on a Pompano Beach, Fla. home.

The bank filed the foreclosure suit on the 6,000 sq. ft. home on Dec. 19.  If that is not enough bad news for this athlete, the IRS stepped in and filed a tax lien against Kearse for $425,015.  This was over his 2010 income.

Lindsay & Dina Lohan headed to foreclosure

Lindsay Lohan headshot

First, a rumor began about Linsday Lohan being evicted from her Beverly Hills apartment. Lohan denied these allegations and said she simply moved to New York. Well, it is true that she moved to Long Island, NY., where she is staying with her mother. We also know that in Oct. 2012, Lohan helped save her mother’s Long Island home from a foreclosure.

It looks like this home is back on the chopping block from the bank. It was just announced that the New York home has just received another foreclosure notice. When the Mean Girls star gave her mother $40,000 to save the home, they believed this would help resolve the situation. Well, it turns out on Feb. 7, 2013, the New York Post said there was paperwork taped to the front gate of the property.

It was a legal notice serving Lindsay and Dina.

NBA Allen Iverson’s Atlanta Mansion Foreclosed

Allen_Iverson

In Dec., we learned that Allen Iverson’s Atlanta mansion was getting ready to be placed in a foreclosure auction. He defaulted on the $1.2 million mortgage, which caused it to go into foreclosure. The home is valued around $4.5 million. Iverson did not let go of the house without a fight.

In fact, he did delay the foreclosure auction until now. As of yesterday, the bank purchased the Atlanta mansion for $2.5 million (via TMZ). If that is not bad enough, during his divorce case this week, the judge basically called him the worst dad in the world.

This NBA superstar is not so super anymore.

Jamal Anderson is a former football player. He was the running back for the Atlanta Falcons. Anderson’s mansion in Atlanta, Ga. just sold at a foreclosure auction for $1 million. He paid around $775,000 for the home in 1999. (via TMZ)

In 2007, we saw this mansion featured on MTV Cribs. The home has 10 beds, 12 baths and is 14,000 sq. ft. This massive house includes a movie theater, pool and basketball court.

Since this former running back has been off the field, he has been dealing with the law. Around Feb. 2009, he was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana. The charges were later dismissed. In June 2012, DeKalb County police arrested him for driving under the influence.

He pleaded guilty and the charges were reduced to 12-months of probation and a $700 fine.

Lady Gaga to Buy Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch

Lady_Gaga

In 2010, we talked about Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch making the most famous foreclosure. Well, Lady Gaga recently announced that she wants to buy the Neverland Ranch, and restore it back to its previous splendor. Gaga has become dear friends with LaToya Jackson, where she learned how Michael’s children are desperate to hold onto their childhood home.

Currently, Sycamore Valley Ranch owns the home. They purchased a $23 million mortgage from Michael when he had financial problems in 2008. Michael’s children—Prince, Paris and Blanket—own shares in the home. Michael’s mother, Katherine, also has shares in the ranch.

Either Lagy Gaga’s obsession with the King of Pop is going to another level, or she just wants to help the young Jacksons out. What do you think?
