California is after Chris Tucker for back taxes
The star of the Hollywood film, “Rush Hour,” Chris Tucker, has been facing some tax issues with the state of California. He apparently owes the bankrupt state more than $3.5 million dollars in back taxes. Tucker owes state taxes for 2001-2002 and 2004-2007. The lien was filed in a Sacramento County Court last week.
Tucker is well-known for his role with Jackie Chan in “Rush Hour” but has also starred in a ton of other roles which banked him millions. Those films include Friday, The Fifth Element, Dead Presidents, Panther, Money Talks, and House Party 3.
According to The Detroit News, Chris Tucker has not made any comments about the lien the state has filed against him.
