Lynne Curtin has to pay up again
Lynne Curtin is no stranger to the media, especially the news. Curtin, who is known from the “Real Housewives of Orange County,” is now a fugitive. We wrote about Lynne Curtin earlier this year when she was being evicted from a home for not paying any rent.
Lynne Curtin and her husband have themselves in a bigger pickle. They were supposed to appear in court but never showed. Their court appearance was due to answer proceedings regarding a million dollar judgment that they had to pay to a business partner….another guy they blew off.
Curtin and her husband are now wanted and have been issued a bench warrant by a judge in Riverside County, California.
Sinbad is bad at filing taxes
Legendary comedian and actor, Sinbad, has been “bad” at filing his taxes. He reportedly owes $8 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS. Sinbad (real name is David Adkins), did not pay taxes from 1998 to 2006 on returns that he filed.
Since he owes so much money, the U.S. Attorney General’s Office in LA wants to foreclose on his Cali home to help pay off those liens. A suit was filed against home on December 10th. This isn’t the first time we have heard this news from the comedian. He has apparently been fighting this for years. In 2003 and in 2005, Sinbad tried to attempt a compromise with the IRS but was rejected both times. Money is tight now and the Fed wants him to cough it up.
This is no joke for the comedian.
Elin Nordegren’s Home Purchase is Swedish
This may not be new to the whole Tiger Woods Saga but it just adds on the disaster his life turned to. TMZ reported that they received a bill of sale copy for the home that Elin Nordegren bought in her own country, Sweden.
Elin bought the home on December 1st of this year for a little more than $2.2 million dollars. The home may not look that fantastic but the reason for the pricey estate is for the 59 acres of land that it sits on. She might have bought it for me. If you read this Elin, call me boo…
Nicolas Cage is Driven Angry
Well, if there is one thing going Cages’ way, it’s definitely that he can still get work. Nicolas Cage will be starring in a new 3-D movie called “Drive Angry.” The name is definitely suitable with his financial situation and all.
Summit Entertainment is behind the big blockbuster and this isn’t the first one they have done with Cage. Summit was apparently behind the movie “Knowing,” where Nicolas Cage was also lead actor. Directing the flick will be Patrick Lussier and will be shot in 3-D just like the blockbuster “Avatar,” which is set to release this Friday.
“Drive Angry” is a revenge style movie where Nic will be chasing his daughter and took her baby. The movie is set to release February 11th, 2011. There is no word on how much Cage will get out of the deal but he is still in the hole with the IRS for over $6 million.
Nicolas Cage’s Headache Gets Bigger
Nicolas Cage might have a black cloud over his head. Cage is now being sued by Christina Fulton (his ex) for not signing the title of an LA home as he promised.
Fulton’s reason for getting the home from Cage is because she had to take care of the child they had together named Weston, who is now over 18 years old. Nicholas Cage just can’t catch a break.
According to TMZ, Nicolas’s lawyer said that “All of these claims are long-time barred by the statute of limitations and are baseless.”
