Warren Sapp Florida Beachfront Condo in Foreclosure
Warren Sapp, former NFL star, did not seem to put up much of a fight when he lost his Super Bowl ring. Now that he is losing his ocean front luxury condo, the battle has begun.
Sapp recently filed bankruptcy in Florida. He owed the bank $781,879.39 before the filing. The bank asked the judge to allow a foreclosure on the condo to settle the deficiency.
Sapp filed a response asking the judge to allow him to keep the home. He declared this is still his residence even though he hasn’t made a payment since May 2011.
Sapp is promising to come up with some cash as soon as the bankruptcy is sorted out. The judge has not yet ruled.

Evander Holyfield Foreclosure on Georgia Home
Evander Holyfield, the heavy weight champion, could not knock his way out of this one. His formally 54,000 square foot home was recently sold in a foreclosure auction for $7.5 million in March. He owed $14 million on the mansion.
The Fairburn mansion has 109 rooms and rests on 235 acres.
Once the home was sold, he was allowed to continue living there for several months temporarily. Last Wednesday, there were several moving trucks spotted at the property.
This is not the only financial trouble the boxing champ has. He owes money for unpaid taxes and behind on child support payments.
NY Jets Antonio Cromartie in Foreclosure
Antonio Cromartie, the NY Jets corner back, has been notified about a potential foreclosure on the home he bought his momma. He became a multi-millionaire in 2006, which is when he purchased this 864-sqft Tallahassee property.
He is being sued for $105,381, which is the amount the bank allegedly says he owes on missed payments. He bought the property for $135,000 at 9.7% interest rate.
The lender says he stopped making payments in 2010 and they are asking for the keys, the mortgage and interest on what he owes.
Last year, Cromartie signed a four-year contract with the NY Jets for $32 million. With the foreclosure, ten children, two more on the way and baby mommas, he might need to negotiate for more money.
Wrestler Scott Hall “Razor Ramon” Being Threatened in Foreclosure
Scott Hall, known in the mid 90s as Razor Ramon, who performed for Vince McMahon’s Word Wrestling Entertainment is in some trouble lately. Not only was he arrested for beating up his girlfriend, he now owes $75,000 on a mortgage that is going in default.
The home is currently vacant and the lender is asking him to pay the balance. If he does not, they are threatening to file a foreclosure suit against the former legendary wrestler.
Terrell Owens Fights Foreclosure for Miami Home
Terrell Owens, a wide receiver, who is well known for his flashy touchdown celebrations has calmed down with the recent foreclosure news. The former NFL star has a Miami Beach condominium, which he allegedly owes over a million dollars.
The lawsuit mortgage documentation says he took out a loan for $1.55 millions in 2006. His monthly payments were $5,126. He faithfully made payments until November.
In December, Owens was in the news for owing $1.47 million on a property in Dallas. The bank claims he has not made a payment in over six months. All other properties he was forced to sell by the banks to avoid foreclosures.
