Jamarcus Russell Avoids Foreclosure
JaMarcus Russell, the one-time Raider, is now trying to get back on his feet. The one thing he did right was selling off the $2.4 million mansion he bought in 2007. He nearly lost the home in an auction when he failed to pay $195,512.05 in mortgage payments.
In September, JaMarcus sold the Bay area home for just over a million dollars. Now that he has a major financial problem off his shoulders, he can work on that physique and knock those lazy and fat rumors. Regardless of what people say, he is still a millionaire.
Chris Tucker $6 Million Home in Foreclosure
Chris Tucker, the “Rush Hour” star’s home is in Foreclosure. He purchased the 10,000-square foot waterfront home in 2007. The mansion is worth $6 million in Lake Apoka, just outside of Orlando, Florida. The Circuit Court in Lake County reports Tucker owes the bank $4.4 million.
The documents from the courts show an $11.5 million IRS lien on the home. This 2011 lien is to collect federal income taxes from Tucker. In addition, the documents show his monthly mortgage payment at $25,812.50
Tucker has not commented on the foreclosure filing yet. Reports show he has rescheduled his comedy show because of “unforeseen circumstances.”
Octomon Home for Sale to Avoid Foreclosure
Nadya Suleman, also known as, Octomom has listed her California home for $525,000. Technically, it is not actually her home. Her father purchased the house in March 2009 for $525,000. The mortgage agreement with Amer Haddadin, the mortgage holder, was monthly payments of $4,139 and a final balloon payment of $450,000 due by March 2010.
Octomom picked up a six-month extension to pay off the mortgage, but failed to do so. Haddadin was happy to hear the home was for sale. The listing says a “previously owned celebrity house.” The home was recently appraised at $500,000.
Jack Nicholson’s Home Burnt Down
Oscar winning actor, Jack Nicholson’s Hollywood Hills property burnt to the ground yesterday. The fire started in the two-story, single family home. It began about 7:55pm last night, and took over 90 firefighters to get the fire under control. The authorities are speculating that the fire may have started from some chemicals in the garage.
His Two Jakes co-star, William Tynan was in the home when the fire started. He was reportedly sleeping. Tynan woke up when he smelled the smoke filling the home. He escaped the home safely.
Nicholson does not live in the home. Tynan was staying in the home until he got back on his feet. He lost his personal belongings in the fire. According to fire officials, the house is a “total loss.”
Burt Reynolds’ Florida Home in Foreclosure
Burt Reynolds was once Hollywood’s much-loved highest-paid actors. Today, 75 years old, Reynolds has run into some financial trouble.
It has been reported he has not paid the 4-acre waterfront home in Florida since September 1, 2010. He currently has two mortgages on the home. The first mortgage he owes $1.2 million, and the second mortgage is behind $750,000. The judge is ordering the home to be sold in order to pay off the debt.
The Mediterranean-style home includes includes a swimming pool, private beach, boat dock, cinema and hair salon. The property is valued at $2.4 million.
