Keyshawn Johnson gets tackled by construction company
Just give me the damn check!
That’s more than likely what the construction company that worked on Keyshawn Johnson’s house is shouting after the retired NFL wide receiver stiffed them on the bill.
Yep, the man, the myth, the legend, “Me-shawn,” who has played with teams like the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers, apparently owes more than $1 million to Gordon S. Gibson Inc.
Johnson, who is now an ESPN broadcaster, has been hit with a lien from the construction company. He owes $1,115,500 for construction on his residence. It’s unclear exactly what he had done to the house, but perhaps floor-to-ceiling mirrors were installed throughout the mansion so he could admire himself all-day, every-day.
Better him than us.
Johnson — who has been known to take large off-field dumps and use gobs of his own money to wipe away his disastrous business investments — more than likely still has tons of cash stashed away to pay the lien whenever he wants.
However, it will raise 10 percent annually until it is paid, according to the official documents.
Wonder if A&E will mention that during an upcoming, over-the-top episode of “Keyshawn Johnson: Tackling Design.” It’s a great way to save and get the most bang for your buck.
Real Housewife eviction served to her daughter
Not so fast!
The Lynne Curtin eviction from an Orange County home might take longer than the three-day notice implies.
That’s because the eviction notice that Curtin and her husband received from their landlord to pay more than 12,000 in owed rent and other expenses was served on their daughter.
Therefore, the legal document for the eviction is apparently invalid, meaning the Curtin’s now have more than three days to to remain deadbeats and live in complete darkness, take cold showers and enjoy all the other luxurious amenities that come along with having their basic utilities shut off.
Lynne and her husband have brought in their lawyers (of course) to fight the eviction and expenses, but it still doesn’t look good for the real housewife. The landlord is said to re-serve the eviction notice under the proper name this time.
What an ingenious idea. Not sure how he didn’t think of it sooner.
Housewife of Orange County Eviction
When one housewife falls, so does another.
Lynne Curtin from “Real Housewives of Orange County” received a three-day eviction notice for a home she and her husband rent in Laguna Beach. If she doesn’t come up with $12,000 in this time, she’s out.
Curtin and her husband apparently owe the owner of the home $10,000 for the security deposit and another $2,000 for some other fees. The owner of the Laguna Beach home has turned off the utilities in the home since she and her husband didn’t pay for those either.
I wonder if our next article will be about another housewife …
Housewives of Atlanta’s Foreclosure
Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu-Hartwell and her NFL husband Edgerton Hartwell (ex Oakland Raider), were removed from their Atlanta mansion last week after the bank foreclosed. The multimillion dollar home has already been sold.
The home was original purchased in 2007 for $2.9 million.
Apparently they are still living in the Atlanta area with a new 10 acre property that they paid for in cash. Hopefully the bank will go after them for renumeration. These annoying over spenders do not deserve to be let off the hook. I remember one episode where they were having a big party bowling in their old mansion.
Maybe Edger spent all the money on roids.
Michael Jackson’s personal physician could face foreclosure
The personal physician that is being investigated in the death of Michael Jackson could face foreclosure on his Las Vegas country club home. Dr. Conrad Murray is more than $100,000 dollars behind in payments for the home that made the news when it was searched by authorities during Jackson’s manslaughter investigation.
Dr. Murray has accumulated penalties on his $1.7 million dollar home loan at the Red Rock Country Club. The Clark County Recorder filed the paper work last month on July 23rd. The doctor really got himself in a pickle.
Records show that the home is 5,268 square feet and is right on the 18th hole of the famous country club in Vegas. It includes four bedrooms, pool, and even a spa.
